Okay everybody, it is pretty slow in terms of news and gossip on the celebrity front.The only news seems to be happening in the sports world.So the two items that did make news were Bob Griese and his taco comment, and the die hard Phillies fan willing to do anything including sex, Susan Finkelstein.
Let's start off with the milder one. Bob Griese an NFL Hall of famer and an ESPN college football analyst made a racial slur.In a broadcast he was questioned about the Nascar standings and Juan Pablo Montoya. He was asked why he wasn't in the top 5.Griese made this remark,”he's out having a taco”.
That automatically produced a firestorm and he was suspending for one week.He kept saying sorry throughout the show, but then it was too late. He obviously has a stereotype about hispanics.
Next is the woman who posted an ad on Craigslist. Her name is Susan Finkelstein.Her ad talked about how she was a Phillies fan desperate for tickets to the World Series.In the ad she made she made some provactive hints. Undercover officers found the ad and set up a sting. When she got to the hotel she offered to perform sex for the tickets.So she was defnitely a die hard willing to go all out for her team.
